Dr. Hercules Logothetis, MD

Dr. Hercules Logothetis brings with him not only a passion for helping others through laser vision correction but also an extensive background in LASIK, PRK, SMILE, ICL, KAMRA corneal inlays, PTK, corneal cross-linking, conductive keratoplasty, refractive cataract surgery, YAG vitreolysis, and multiple MIGS. He is experienced with multiple laser platforms, including VISX, Allegretto, EX500 Wavelight, Nidek, Visumax, and Intralase.

Dr. Logothetis was deeply involved in trials with the light-adjustable lens, allowing post-cataract surgery adjustment for the most accurate outcomes. He is also one of the first surgeons in the Midwest to work with the RxSight light adjustable lens for implantation during cataract surgery.

Hailing from Chicago, Dr. Logothetis completed his fellowship in cataract and refractive surgery and residency in ophthalmology following his successful academic careers at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. Also, notably, Dr. Logothetis performed cataract surgery for underserved communities in India, and spent six months living in Athens, Greece, where he volunteered in several hospitals and studied the modern Greek language.
