Larry Womack, MD
Dr. Womack is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is also 
certified in LASIK by the American College of Eye Surgeons. In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery of the American Academy of Ophtholmology. He has performed over 30,000 laser vision correction surgeries and is experienced in a variety of refractive procedures including RK, ALK, INTACS, LASIK, LASEK and PRK. He is certified using only the best laser platform technology, including the VISX Star S4 Customvue laser and the Intralase Femtosecond laser. Dr. Womack has been recognized by TLC as one of the Top 5 LaserVision surgeons in the U.S. since 1998.
Steven J. Ferguson, OD
Dr. Steve Ferguson opened Dunes Eye Consultants in Dakota Dunes in 2002 in his 17th year as an optometrist.
He came to Siouxland in 1998 as clinic director of refractive surgery services for Vance Thompson Vision after working in private practice in Minnesota. Today in addition to his private eye care practice, Dr. Ferguson serves as the clinic director for LASIK surgery at Dunes LASIK Center in Dakota Dunes.
Dr. Ferguson earned his doctorate degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry after getting his undergrad degree from Storm Lake’s Buena Vista University. He completed an internship in eye disease and co-management of eye surgery at the Omaha Eye Institute. In 1999, he completed a one-year, post graduate fellowship in Clinical Refractive Surgery Care and Refractive Technology at Ophthalmology, Limited in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Dr. Ferguson is one of the most experienced optometrists in the country caring for LASIK patients.
Dr. Ferguson is licensed to practice in Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska.
He loves sports, especially basketball and golf. He and his wife Lisa have three children, Austin, Tanner and Taylor.
